Music Activities

The Senior Center offers a variety of music activities for our senior community. Music activities include Karaoke on the last Wednesday of each month at 2 pm in the Main Hall where individuals can sing their hearts out to any of their favorite songs. This is a 100% judgment free zone! Ukulele on Thursdays at 2 pm in the Main Lobby allows individuals to play any of their favorite songs on the popularized string instrument from Hawaii. Lastly, for individuals looking for a string instrument bigger than the ukulele, the Center offers two types of Guitar classes on Fridays. For more of a beginner pace, Beginning Guitar is available 8:30 AM on Fridays. For those with a little more experience and looking for a more advanced speed there is Advanced Guitar at 10 am on Fridays as well.  For both the ukulele and guitar class, participants are required to bring their own instrument. All levels are welcome to participate and anyone wanting to just come and listen are strongly encouraged to attend.
