The Pinole Senior Center offers a variety of card games. Social Bridge is a team trick taking game played with a standard 52 card playing deck and the objective is to win as many games as you can. The game takes place on Mondays and Thursdays at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room of the Senior Center. For those who have never played Bridge before or individuals who want an introductory speed the Center also offers Beginners Bridge. Learn how to play Bridge in this beginner friendly activity! You will learn a few basics about how to negotiate a good wild card suite with your partner while actually playing. The atmosphere is full of encouragement and friendly chatter. Beginners Bridge is on Fridays at 2 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room of the Senior Center. Mah Jongg is another game offered. It is a tile-based game that is aimed to make matching sets and pairs. To win, a player must form four sets and one pair. Mah Jongg is offered on Wednesdays at 12:30 pm in the Card Room of the Senior Center. Lastly, Pinochle is also available for play. Pinochle is a card game where players score points by trick-taking and also by forming combinations of cards into melds. Pinochle takes place on Tuesdays at 12:30 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room of the Senior Center.
