Citizens can submit and pay for Planning Applications online, including: Administrative and Conditional Use Permits; Administrative and Comprehensive Design Review; General Plan, Specific Plan and Zoning Ordinance Amendments; Lot Mergers, Adjustments and Subdivisions; Minor Deviations and Variances, Sign Permits and Sign Programs; SB 9 Lot Splits and Development; Temporary Use Permits; and Tree Removal Permits.

Every rental unit located within the City is required to have a health and safety inspection by the City’s Building Division once every three years to ensure compliance with all applicable City ordinances or other laws relating to housing, including the substandard housing provisions of the Housing Code contained in Chapter 15.22 of the Pinole Municipal Code. The Pinole Police Department encourages residents and businesses to register their video security cameras with the Department’s security camera registry. The registry provides a valuable tool for officers and detectives investigating crimes, while maintaining personal privacy. When an incident is reported, police officers will use the registry to see if private security cameras in the area may have captured images/footage that could help solve the crime. Participation is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with notification. To be added to the video surveillance registry:
