The Pinole Senior Center is conveniently located in Old Town Pinole adjacent to Fernandez Park.

The City of Pinole Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel or transfer rentals to make room for City events.

Main Hall

Senior Center Main Hall

The main hall is approximately 4,000 square feet and can seat up to 250 people depending on room layout. This hall can be used for weddings, receptions, classes, meetings and parties. A well-kept oak floor makes this room ideal for events that include dancing. There is plenty of parking in the lot located in front of the center. The use of round or rectangular tables, chairs and limited use of a modern kitchen facility are provided in the contract. Liability insurance, security and a security deposit are required.

Alcoholic beverages may be served if all requirements are met. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at any youth designated events – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Reduced rates may apply to non-profit organizations.

Reservations will be received on a first come, first serve basis. A deposit and booking fee is required at the initial booking. Reservations will be taken no more than twelve months in advance.

All renters must hire outside security to work their event. There must be 1 guard for every 74 guests. Proof of security 45 days prior to the event.

Rental Hours

Rental hours fall between 8 am to 12 pm. All events must end by 11 pm, and the facility must be completely cleaned and vacated by 12 am.

There is no storage at the center before or after an event. The facility may only be entered during designated times.

Meeting Rooms

Senior Center Meeting Rooms

The Pinole Senior Center offers 2 different meeting rooms, ranging in capacity from 15-40 people. These spaces are ideal for one-on-one meetings with clients, Board Meetings, business presentations, etc. Rooms are furnished with tables and chairs. Renters are responsible for setting up furnishings, according to preference, and cleaning up after use.

Ongoing reservations require general liability insurance, available through the City of Pinole for an additional fee. Availability is dependent on regular Senior Center programming.

Reservations will be received on a first come, first serve basis. Deposit is due at time of reserving. Reservations will be taken no more than 6 months in advance, and no less than 45 days prior to the event date.
