Today the @pinole_police_department led the way for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Northern California Special Olympics with the East Bay Buffaloes, City staff, family, friends and neighbors. We continue to be inspired by the amazing athletes who remind us never to give up! UPDATE: EBMUD has completed the repairs on Orleans Street. The road is now accessible to vehicles and that area is safe and accessible. The future road resurfacing will start after the completion of the sewer project.
⚠️ROAD CLOSURE ON ORLEANS STREET⚠️ For your safety, the City asks that people avoid the areas near Orleans Street while emergency repairs are being made on a damaged section of road. Vehicle access is not possible at this time. Last night at approximately 10pm a section of Orleans Street collapsed. The cause is not yet known. EBMUD is on site and working to identify the cause for the damage, and there is no information available for when repairs will be completed. Public Works crews are onsite to clean the area. Steel plates have been installed.
🚧Orleans Street is closed from Zoe Street all the way to the end of Orleans. Intersecting street access is also closed.
🚷If pedestrians need to travel, remain on the sidewalk and be cautious.
